★ বর্তমানে প্রতিযোগিতা মূলক পরীক্ষার জন্য কমন  টপিক হচ্ছে Inversion of verb, Affirmative agreement and Negative agreement.

★ বিগত সালে চাকরি ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় এই অংশ হতে প্রশ্ন এসেছে। 

★ Inversion of verb কি ? 

বাক্যে subject এর পূর্বে verb ব্যবহৃত হওয়া কে inversion of verb বলে। 

➡️ Inversion of verb এর Rules :

♦Stc 1. Negative adver + Auxiliary verb + Subject + principle verb + Extension.  

Note: আমাদের কে মনে রাখতে হবে যে Negative  adverb দিয়ে বাক্য শুরু হলে Auxiliary + Subject হবে।

Note : Hardly,  Barely,  Scarcely,  Rarely,  Seldom,  No sooner,   Neither,   Nor,  Little ইত্যাদি Negative adverb. যেমন- 

1.Never will I do it again. 

2. Hardly had I arrived when trouble started. 

3. Seldom have I seen such a remarkable creature.

4. Little did he realise the danger he faced. 

5. Never has he commited such a heinous crime.

♦Stc 2: Here/ there + verb + Subject. [ পরীক্ষায় বেশি আসে] যেমন- 

1. Here comes freddy!

2. There goes your brother. 

3.Here's a dish that is simple and quick to make.

4. Here is your opportunity.

5.Here comes the bus.

6. There is a restaurant around the corner.

♦Stc 3: Only + preposition + Noun + Auxiliary verb + Subject.  Extension. 

Note: Only + preposition হলে কিন্তু Auxiliary verb + Subject. যেমন-1. Only rarely has an accident occurred. 

2. Only after entering the store did  Arthur realize that there was danger. 

♦Stc 4:  So + Adjective / adverb + Auxiliary verb + subject + principle verb + Extension. 

Note: So এর পর Adjective / Adverb থাকলে Auxiliary + Subject হবে। [ Stc 4] যেমন- So quickly did he run that he reached home on time. 

♦Stc 5: Negative adverb+ Clause + Auxiliary + Subject + principle verb + other 

Note : Negative adverb দিয়ে শুরু clause [ কমার পর Auxiliary + Subject ] যেমন-1.  Not until he got home did he realize that he lost the book. 

2. Only after they had finished eating did they get round to business. 

3. Not until a monkey is several years old does it begin to exhibit sings of independence from its mother. 

4. Only after I went home,  did I remember my doctor's appointment. 

 

➡️ Affirmative Agreement :

Affirmative agreement হচ্ছে কারো হ্যাঁ সূচক বাক্যের সাথে মতৈক্য বা একমত প্রকাশ করা। বাক্যের প্রতম অংশ হ্যাঁ সূচক হলে So,  too, also ব্যবহার হয়। 

★ Stc 1: Subject + positive verb +............. + and + so + Auxiliary + Subject.  Note:  and+ so থাকলে Auxiliary + subject হবে। 

যেমন- 1.Rini took pictures,  and so did I.  

2. Malek is hard working and so am I.

3. Rini likes cooking and so do I. 

4. Times have changed and so heve I. 

5. You like chocolate and so do I. 

★ Stc 2: Subject + positive verb +......  + and + Subject + Auxiliary+ too/ also.

Note : Too/ also Auxiliary verb এর পরে বসে। 

যেমন- Malek took pictures, and I did also/ too. 

➡️ Negative agreement : 

Negative agreement হচ্ছে কারো না সূচক বাক্যের সাথে মতৈক্য বা একমত প্রকাশ করা। প্রথম অংশ না বোধক হলে neither,  nor,  either ব্যবহার হয়।

★ STC 1: Subject + verb ( negative) + ------ + and + neither / nor + Auxiliary + subject. Note : এখানেও কিন্তু, and + neither / nor + Auxiliary + subject 

যেমন: 1.I did not know the answer,  and neither did he. 

2. My friends dose not like fish and neither do I.

3. My parents don't like coffee,  and neither do I.  

4. He doesn't like vegetables, neither do I. 

5. He did not remember and neither did I.

6. He did't not write to me, nor did he telephone.

★STC 2: Subject + verb ( negative) + ---+ and + subject + Auxiliary + not + either. 

যেমন- 1.I did not know the answer,  and he did not either. 

2. If you don't do it,  I won't do it either. 

3.  Rini con't type well, and her sister can't either. 

4. Peter can't go and I can't either. 

বিঃ দ্র- Inversion,  Affirmative agreement and Negative agreement ইংরেজি Grammar এর জন্য বেশি কমন। নিম্নের আইটেম গুলোতে উক্ত আইটেম সমূহ আসে।
